Welcome to Headio. By accessing or using our website and services, including purchasing AI-generated headshots, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. The Service
Headio provides AI-generated professional headshots based on the photos you upload.
2. Eligibility and Authority
By using Headio, you represent and warrant that:
- you are at least 18 years old,
- the photos you upload are of you, or you have full permission from the person shown,
- you have the legal right to submit those images for processing.
Headio is intended only for individuals age 18 or older. You may not use the service if you are under 18.
You may not upload photos you do not have permission to use.
3. AI-Generated Results
Headio uses artificial intelligence to generate images based on the photos you provide.
While many results will closely resemble you, AI-generated images may vary. Some outputs may contain minor visual inconsistencies or may not perfectly reflect your exact appearance. This may include small differences in facial features, expression, hair, clothing, body shape, or other visual details.
By using the service, you understand and agree that:
- results may vary from person to person,
- not every generated image will be perfect or usable,
- AI-generated images are interpretations based on the uploaded photos.
4. No Guarantee of Exact Likeness
We aim to create professional images that closely resemble you. However, we do not guarantee that every generated image will be an exact or flawless representation of your real-life appearance.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Headio only for lawful purposes.
You may not use the service:
- to upload photos without consent,
- to impersonate another person,
- for fraud, deception, harassment, defamation, or unlawful activity,
- in any way that violates the rights of others.
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or suspend access if we believe these Terms have been violated.
6. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed on the website at the time of purchase. By placing an order, you agree to pay the stated amount.
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. We do not store your full payment card information ourselves.
7. Refund Policy
We want you to be happy with your results. If your order does not include at least 4 usable images, we will issue a full refund, no questions asked.
For purposes of this policy, “usable images” means images that reasonably resemble you and are suitable for professional profile use.
8. Delivery Timing
We aim to deliver your images within the estimated timeframe shown on the website. However, delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. The FTC expects businesses to have a reasonable basis for delivery claims and to be clear about shipment or delivery timing representations.
9. File Access and Responsibility
Once your images are delivered, it is your responsibility to download and save them. We do not guarantee permanent storage of delivered files unless expressly stated on the website.
10. Intellectual Property
The Headio website, branding, text, graphics, design, and related content are owned by Headio or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission.
Subject to these Terms, you may use the images generated for you for personal and professional lawful purposes.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
Headio is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the service, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Headio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service or generated images.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the order in question.
13. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. The FTC has warned that companies should not quietly rewrite terms or privacy practices in misleading ways.
